The University has just announced that the 800th
Anniversary fundraising Campaign has been completed with the total raised
for the Colleges and the University exceeding US$2 billion, the largest
fundraising total ever announced by a European university. More

the first Cambridge Global Alumni Conference in
Hong
Kong
.
On 14 April, alumni are invited to join the Vice-Chancellor and Professor
Dame Jean Thomas together with an array of distinguished academics for a
thought provoking day of discussion, lectures and networking.
On 15 April, Alumni Group leaders and representatives are invited to the
Alumni Groups Leadership Conference. This day is specifically designed
for alumni involved in running the global network of more than 400
volunteer-led groups.

Christmas at the Botanic Garden

This year you can pre-book a lunch-time table at the Garden Cafe and
bring family, friends or colleagues to enjoy a special Christmas lunch.
All locally sourced where possible and freshly prepared, the specialities
include red onion tart to start followed by a rolled escalope of turkey
with a cranberry stuffing. Round off the celebration with a walk around
the Garden to offset the chocolate brownie for dessert!
